Dog Sled Tours

Located right in Jefferson just minutes from Applebrook, Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel has 90 sled dogs, ranging from racing Alaskan Huskies, to more traditional breeds like Siberians and Malamutes. Regardless of breed, our dogs all share common traits of friendliness towards people, the love of running, and an athletic & competitive nature.

You can have a once in a lifetime chance to drive a team with professional musher!

Two options are available:

Day and Evening Tours from our Jefferson location will be 1.5 hour experiences that include hands on interaction with our dogs, involvement in harnessing and hook-up, learning commands, stories about our kennel & dogs ... or if you prefer, just going for a great dog sled ride! Get ready for incredible views of the White Mountains.

Clinics are also available and consist of an intensive 2-3 hours. Customers will learn about all aspects of modern dog sledding, gain in-depth knowledge of the gear and dogs, learn how to drive a team...and do it! (at musher discretion based on age and physical ability) and learn how to train commands and correct problem behavior.
