There are numerous seasonal and regular events and attractions in the area and a few right here at the Applebrook.

February
Frostbite Follies is held in towns around the area.
Easter Seals Snowmobile ride in held in Lancaster, NH.

July
Our raspberries are ripe for the picking! Check with us on when we think the harvest will be at it's best.

4th of July in Jefferson is like going back in time to the good ol' days! Check out the fireworks from our front steps. The annual 4th of July parade is held just up the street.

August

Colebrooks holds the Annual North Country Moose Festival with fun for everyone from cars shows, bands, moose tours to a rubber ducky race. Find out more here.

Lancaster Fair takes place! A Country Fair feel and setting with anything that 65 acres can hold, but the limits. Agricultural activities, large midway, 4H exhibits, diverse musical attractions. Sheep dog trials, horse and ox pulls, motorized competitions. For more information call: 603-788-4531 or check out the website.

September
Fall foliage season begins. It's a leaf peeper's paradise!

October
Fall foliage continues and the weather cools.

The Haunted Applebrook. The Applebrook transforms from a nice Victorian B&B to something darker and fun for kids and adults alike. Joy and Tom embrace their favorite holiday by mutating the Applebrook into a Halloween abode. A building this old that was once also a nursing home has more than it’s share of ghosts.

November
The Applebrook Holiday Season begins and we decorate the place for you to enjoy. We add lights every year indoors and out. The kids love the it!

Santa's Village opens on weekends for their Christmas Season.

December
The great Jefferson Holiday Festival occurs. Come see Jefferson and experience a small town holiday celebration like it was in the good days with a bonfire, hay rides, craft fair, sled dog demonstrations, music and more! People travel from around the country for this, so don't miss it!

The Rocks Christmas Tree Farm opens. You can cut your own tree, take a wagon ride and more. It's a great old fashioned New England holiday experince for the family. Check out our Christmas Magic Weekend packages for more information.
