You can't stay much closer to the Waumbek Public Golf Course! We are partially surrounded by this wonderful 18-hole championship golf course. The Waumbek offers scenic and picturesque views and is the oldest 18-hole course in New Hampshire and was built in 1895. It is one of the 100 oldest golf courses in the United States and has been played by Presidents to the rich and famous.

Stay with us and you can walk from our front door to the course. During your round you can take a break after the 4th hole, visit your room which is only a short walk away and grab some of Joy's popular cookies as a snack and be back on the course in minutes.

A liitle known fact: Nellie Cook (Stalbird), who owned our property in the early 1900's used to own the land which had a few of the golf holes on them which she leased back to the golf course. Makes one wonder if she ever played. During your visit, you can stay in Nellie's Nook with a private deck and soak in the outdoor hot tub after a day of golf.
